This anniversary cake was for my friend’s grandparents. They never had an actual wedding cake, and she wanted to do something special for them (without trying to give them a wedding cake per se). They are huge nature/garden buffs, so we thought it would be nice to do a little scene from their garden. Lemon chiffon cake with lemon mousse filling, faint lemon buttercream, and fondant. Gumpaste details, buttercream and royal icing piping, and gel color painting details for the grass.
