For my little guy’s sixth birthday, a Star Wars-themed party – also made Yoda and Darth Vader. This is cinnamon-apple cake with butterscotch filling and butterscotch buttercream, and a fondant hood with cocoa rubbed on for texture. Eyes, nose and mouth are painted with extra black for a little shine, and butterscotch chips around the base, royal icing cakeboard.
